The Eagles head coach loses his loyalty to the team, what a mess…
We are going to start the season 10-1 and walk right back to the Super Bowl this year. They were then defeated by the San Francisco 49ers, and they have been losing badly ever since.
The team has been the subject of a lot of harsh media coverage due to their awful performance over the past month. The locker room appears to be faltering a little bit, and numerous rumors concerning head coach Nick Sirianni’s ability to keep the locker room running smoothly have surfaced.
There were rumors circulating that the head coach and standout wide receiver AJ Brown were at odds. During his post-game press conference, the receiver had to address a few issues and make it apparent that Sirianni is respected and that the reports are unfounded rumors.
In an attempt to allay his grievances against his head coach and to cool things down a little, AJ Brown made some significant remarks today. The Eagles still have all of their objectives in front of them. This is a team that defeated several of the best teams in the league on numerous occasions this year and played in a very close Super Bowl the year before.
Nick undoubtedly wants to make some changes to himself. “One of them is not loyalty,” Brown stated, as quoted by SportsRadio WIP. “Even though he has nothing to do with it, he takes the fall for us. It is his job to take the blame, yet he accepts it. Jalen (Hurts) acts in the same manner occasionally. Like Brian Johnson, the offensive coordinator for the Eagles, he occasionally receives the short end of the stick when it comes to us.
He fully supported his head coach and ensured that everyone understood that the team’s unhappiness in the locker room stems from their inability to play their best and win games, not from calls on plays or any other issues with the coach.
He went on to clarify matters by explaining why he had been silent earlier, claiming that he only had bad things to say and that he preferred to keep them to himself. Additionally, he expressed his admiration for his instructor by saying:
Brown remarked, “He really came out and made himself appear like a fool for us.” Respect is the only feeling I have for him. Not every coach acts in that way. Nick rides with us. With Brian (Johnson), we ride.
The Eagles players are obviously respectful of their coach and just annoyed that they are not seeing the same kind of success that they have the previous two seasons. With the playoffs quickly approaching, the Eagles still have all of their objectives in front of them and will need to make swift adjustments. This week’s game between the Eagles and the New York Giants should be easy to win and might provide them momentum as they attempt to return to the Super Bowl.
