Sadly: Due to allegations of domestic abuse, two of the Indianapolis Colts’ best players have been arrested.

Andrew Ogletree, a tight end for the Indianapolis Colts, was recently taken into custody on suspicion of domestic abuse. Shortly after the news leaked, the franchise discussed the circumstances. Only a few days after the accusations were made public, the team has now decided on Ogletree.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the Colts have formally placed Ogletree on the NFL commissioner’s exempt permission list because of the ongoing investigation. This season, the rookie tight end probably won’t play in any more games.

“After allegations of domestic violence, Andrew Ogletree of the Colts was placed on the NFL Commissioner’s exempt permission list.”

The Colts and Andrew Ogletree are in a bad situation. Christmas 26 was the date of the first arrest. The rookie tight end was taken by police to Danville, Indiana’s Hendricks County Jail. At first, he was detained without a bond. Since he is on the NFL Commissioner Exempt List, he is essentially barred from playing as long as the investigations are ongoing.
