Due to his violation of the league’s substance abuse policy, linebacker Jake Knott will serve a four-week unpaid suspension, the Eagles announced on Friday.
Playing primarily on special teams, the former Iowa State undrafted rookie participated in 12 games in the previous season.
If they so want, they can easily make an example of this type of player. If they want him around, Knott can still participate in the offseason workouts, training camp, and preseason.

Although I take nutritional supplements like most players do, I have never knowingly consumed any banned substances.
Regretfully, I now understand that supplements are unregulated and might contain ingredients not disclosed on the label.
Since the NFL has very strict policies, I have decided to assume immediate responsibility.I’m excited to work out as a team, attend training camp, and play in the preseason with my squad.
I’ll put in a ton of effort during my suspension to stay in peak football condition so that when I return, I can start contributing right away.
I truly regret the effect my error had on the team, my family, the coaches, and the fans.
