An obnoxious tragic Lakers injury report….
The 17–16 Los Angeles Lakers, who suffered a disheartening 108–106 away loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday night, will be without at least two of their rotation players. LA will be without starting small forward Cam Reddish and recently demoted reserve point guard D’Angelo Russell against the 18-14 New Orleans Pelicans tonight, according to Khobi Price of The Orange County Register. Anthony Davis, the starting center, is just probably going to play.
D’Angelo Russell is dealing with a contusion in his tailbone, while Reddish’s documented injury is a sore left groin. Gabe Vincent, the backup point guard, is still out due to recovery following surgery on his left knee.
