NEWS: A Boston Celtics Player Has Been Suspended

The Boston Celtics had a difficult game against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night at the United Center in Illinois.

Grant Williams was ejected from the game after they lost by a score of 120–102.

He made contact with the referee as he was given his second technical foul; it didn’t seem to be intentional.

The NBA announced on Wednesday that Williams would miss one game without receiving compensation.

NBA Communication: “Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams has been suspended for one game without pay for recklessly making contact with and directing inappropriate language toward a game official, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.”
