After suffering neck injuries on different plays, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland and defensive lineman Moro Ojomo both have “movement in all extremities,” the organization reported on Thursday.
During the Eagles’ NFL preseason home game versus the Cleveland Browns, the event took place. In the third quarter, Cleveland made a big catch from quarterback Tanner McKee and fell hard on his head and neck area.
After the play, Cleveland lay on his stomach for a few minutes as the team’s medical personnel cared for him.
Cleveland was taken off the field and placed on a stretcher by the Eagles medical staff.
As Cleveland was being removed from the field, players from both teams could be seen congregating around the cart.
Cleveland was declared out by the Eagles due to a neck injury in a social media message; however, they added that he had “movement in all of his extremities.”

As the two tried to tackle Browns quarterback Kellen Mond in the fourth quarter, Ojomo was also carted off the field on a stretcher after being hit in the neck by teammate Tristin McCollum.
Ojomo, whom the Eagles selected in the seventh round of this year’s draft, waved and flashed a thumbs up as he was wheeled off the field.
Ojomo suffered a neck injury, so the Eagles ruled him out as well, stating that he also had “movement in all of his extremities.”
In the end, the score was tied, 18–18.
